Were are all of the ''Civil war'' relics?

I live in Warren County Tennessee...I was wondering if there was any good places to find Civil war relics here? I have found a bullet in my own back yard .So I know its here, to be found ..but I'm thinking there is better places to be hunting !! Were I'm not sure ....So if anyone can give me some pointers, on what areas are the best places for this area ,would be appreciated... Thank you

On July 11, 1862 Nathan Bedford Forrest bivouaced in Warren County.
There was a Skirmish at Guest Hollow on August 29, 1862.
Camp Smartt is located in Warren County. It was a CSA training and staging camp.
Brigadier General John Hunt Morgan had his headquarters here for awhile.
Higgenbotham’s Cave was used for mining saltpeter for Confederate troops.

There is ALOT of Civil War history in Warren County. Most of it is known about, but there are still virgin sites here as well. It takes ALOT of research to uncover them though.
Good luck with your search. You are in a rich area for Civil War history.

Don't forget to talk to your neighbors, their yards might be worth hunting if you found a bullet in your own backyard. I would spiral out from my own house and look for any creeks with land next to them that is reasonably well drained and then get permission to hunt. Too many people think they have to go far from home to find stuff and too many people think you have to cast to the middle of the lake to catch fish.

Wouldn't bother me a bit to go ask him. Most folks that say that the guy won't let them on his land probably didn't ask before hand. Of course then again he might be bugged all of the time by folks wanting to search. Might need to get to know someone before deciding on if he would allow folks to search on his land. Most folks will allow friends to search and won't allow strangers to search.
