Went to the lake today, 5 rings, 1 gold

Went to the lake today to MD the beach. I found was a penny in the first ten feet. I went about five more feet and found a nice little 10k black hills gold ring. Great way to start the hunt, less than five minutes in and a gold ring. I stayed at it for a couple of hours and found 4 junk rings, 3 junk earrings, and $2.89 in clad. I had a wonderful day. The weather was beautiful, 60 degrees and sunny. Not looking forward to winter and frozen ground.

Our beaches have been long since scoured from the summer. That's what you get in a big city though.

Our beaches have been picked over too but most of the lakes around here are being lowered for winter so these were under water a week ago.
