I went to a middle school built in the 50's for a two hour hunt. A lady said her husband lost his wedding ring at a base ball diamond in the school grounds, so I attempted to find the ring with less than an hour left of hunting. I got a 1964 D Washington at about 5" but no ring yet. Thanks for looking.

Nice I keep finding 67's and 65's!

Wheres the field? I wanna go back and look for a silver quarter. ZWho know's, maybe I'll find a wedding ring instead :D

Nice quarter. Keep your coil a little higher off the ground you should find the ring. You won't pick up all the deep trash.

I spent a few hours looking for a wedding ring tonight also. The lady said her husband lost it in a ditch by their home while mowing. I said I would look for it for her. I am new to Metal detecting so I thought this would be a good challenge. Boy was I wrong. I must have dug 300 pull tabs and my weight in Can Slaw and still no ring. I did not even get a silver quarter for my troubles though. Just a sore back and a realization that I will never find a gold ring as I hate pull tabs!!!! It amazes me the amount of rings posted on here. I don't know that a 300 to 1 ratio of pull tabs to gold rings would make me want to find one that bad?

Good luck with your search though.

HH,

Dave
