Hello everyone, first time posting in this section. But I have been reading your posts for awhile, learning on what to look for. So I wasn't able to go out Metal Detecting today so I stopped at 2 yard sales that were right next to each other. The first one had a Ton of siver rings and earrings. (the lady collected it) They weren't to expensive $1-2 maybe 5 at the most because a lot of them had beautiful stones on them. Anyway, I picked up two pendants that look tribal or native american. They are stamed Solid Bronze with a TM below it. One looks like a bird and the other I can't tell (kinda reminds me of a flea... ;D ) But i dont know maybe you can help me out with it... I'll post pics... I got a silver snowflake earring set, and gold studs(not sure if they are real) and some green stone ball earrings. I picked up one silver ring with a Celtic cross looking design. Also two Silver colored braclets They are stamped Scottland and have two hallmarks on them (both the same hallmarks) I will post pics. I couldn't find the hallmarks on the web anywhere. I got a wonderful Coffee table book called, Wild America by James Lockhart in beautiful condition For $5.00! also some 1960's Rex Brasher Birds of North America Prints a collection of 12 and they are in mint condition. And two Arthur Singer Bird Prints. Those were all $5.00 too, and all the jewelery was 6.00 so I spent $16.00 there. Oh and I got a Owl Avon Bottle (for my owl collection for .25cents)

Now the other yard sale next door I got a Small glass jewelery/whatever holder and it had 20+ pairs of earrings, One pair that was 14k and a Locket that looks to be 14k, (cant see it very well I need a magnifying thingy) Also 2 pairs of Silver loop earrings.

Now my question is.... what's a good deal on Silver rings? I know I know it all depends on how much you wanna spend. but should I have bought more rings?? and just scrap them or try to sell them for more?? they had really nice stones on them...

Ill post pics of the book and prints soon.

This is the jar thing with all the earrings in it.

Ok thats all the pics it will let me post... :)

Nice finds, Personally I would have checked the silver with a magnet as I was looking at them, got them all in my hand and then asked how much and/or made a low offer. than scrapped everything, both gold and silver. Good luck............Scott
