Went out for an hour tonight

Not much tonight I think I am finally getting the hang of it though so I think soon I will venture out of my own yard and down the road to the local track and try that area or over to the local school. I have also had people tell me there was an old train stop just down the block from me I have to do some research and locate the exact spot for that I think it is part of the local park and a ballfield now. Anyway 5 pennies nothing old a nickel two nails and a plug for either an oil pan or water pump I believe.

Those nails look square, are they? If they are square then the site ur hunting is pretty old ( like 1800's at least).

Your pennies sure come out of the ground a lot cleaner than mine. My yard must be nearly acid. Sometimes I really have to rub like crazy just to see if it's a penny then it turns out to be one from the 90's. Good luck at the train station!
