some silver... some gold ...but this was the best one from trip - Tiffany &Co.Pt 950
6mm
online retails for $2300 - Store down there had same one in their case for $2600 - I had girl at counter take a look and she verified it was the same one they had
wrapped in tissue so not to scratch or nick on ride home - ring is like new probably lost on honeymoon recently - that is tissue "lint: on the ring not blemishes - 2nd pic little better
if I ever sell - could get more as ring than the melt due to its condition

Great find, Casper! What size?

Sweet ring ! Any issues taking your detector on a plane?

Not a one - very seldom do
On way down they stopped in in scanner - I yelled over "2 underwater metal detectors!" They said "Oh..underwater ones"
and then pointed on screen to headphones and coil and could see them and passed them thru--
I carry on 2 cz21s - pack the upper rods in luggage
way back - went right on thru - I was shocked - there are many guys that go down there to hunt - so they may be used to it

Great find, Casper. I'm still looking for my first piece of PLAT. Grats.

Awesome find! I've been wanting to go on a trip like that. Making a find that just about covers the cost of the trip would be a dream come true. Congratulations.

Dang! That pays for next years trip lol. I've scored a few Tiffany & Co but nothing that nice. Someone is seriously bummed. Congrats!

Real nice find Casper, that made your day. HH

I’m headed there in a few weeks. Thanks for giving me inspiration lol. I’m only coming with a go-find, but am still excited!

Hey nice!!!! Still hoping for my first PT.

That reminds me, you ever find any small platinum ladies rings with your CZ? Mine is not very sensitive to them in air tests... water may be another story. My machine won't pick up my wife's platinum solitaire unless it's 2" away from it, and sometimes only in one direction (?)

My equinox does slightly better, maybe 5". Maybe just the shape of the ring, dunno.
