Went to out to a local place to look for Fossils, Sharks teeth, Native artifacts etc.

When I saw this in the river, I assumed it was an old iron head to a cane or something like that.

But its not metal at all, its rock or something and completely hollow and holds water.

The area is known for sharks teeth and fossils and native american artifacts.

Im not saying its one of those....I just have no clue WHAT it is. It has some weight, which is why I thought it could be iron.

Any Help or opinion would be awesome!

I use to own a ranch in Somervell County, Texas, and the place was rich with concretions with high iron content, that would make ones imagination go bonkers. Some of the broken ones were hollow like that, but some were still filled with silica sand. Long story short, I think your cool find is a concretion as well.

I used to live in near Ft Worth (in Keller). Where do you go for sharks teeth?
