Went out fishing. It was OK , just a lot of small fish. My neck and shoulders have been killing me lately, so I have to take breaks from casting , as I fly fish, so I took a little walk on the gravel bars and spotted the big orange agate from 20 feet or so away! Started looking for more and found a nice colorful piece of agatized wood. Felt like it was a good day! I would have done "insitu", but I left my phone in the truck, so I had to take them on the hood when I got back to the truck. If you "click" the pic for a closer view, you can see a little bit of fortification in the agate. (I think that is what it is called when it is banded?)
