Lets see...bennington marble, boot or stove polish bottle. That Father Johns will reek if theres anything in it. Nice finds and sounds like a great time. jgas

We found a few "Father John's" here in Rhode Island, mustve been the cure all back then!

That Necco Boston Baked Beans pot is a candy container. They still make the candy (but not in jars!), and I think it was first made in the 1890s. Very, very cool find.

to follow up on your post, i came across a website that has one similar for sale and talks about what it was used for. it is a cool find especially since the one on here says Necco on it and the one on the website doesnt.
