Went back to my colonial site and hunted all day. The finds are getting slim, but it was nice while it lasted.
I did dig another large Colonial Marines button, but it was smashed and it has the shank protruding through the front of it.
Ended up with some musket balls, and a few fired flattened ones.
Also found some miscellaneous brass items id love to get some help with.
Found one large square plate like item. Was wondering if anyone has seen one of these before. Not certain its a buckle, but it looks like there are 2 rivets/nubs where a belt may have attached, and a hook-like clasp on the opposite side. Age/type?
Also dug a couple rings. Any ideas on the one with the stone? glass?
A two prong suspender tensioner/vest tensioner. One item that looks like it might be a curtain rod holder. And another brass item with 3 attachment points and maybe a slot for a strap or belt. Love to get some help on some of these.
