Wend MDing this morning, had a ball

This morning I went MDing again, I went to my parents neighbor's yard, which i thought would be a good spot, but only found fun, and 2 nails and a broken bolt. Then i went to this park and dug up 2 nails. After that I went to this other waterfront area and hit pay dirt! I found a 1990 Dime......oh, and 3 nails. Haha, I did'nt find much, but had alot of fun doing it. I can hardly wait untill tomorrow morning. I would have stayed longer, but I had to get home and get our twins up and going. They are running in a race this morning.....the big race is the Sound to Narrows, but they are under 2, so they are running in the 100 foot "Diper Dash" Im sure it will be super cute to see. (Plus, it will be a good place to MD tomorrow morning ) Talk to you all later, have a good day of hunting. Brad

No, but I can see how you thought it was a dodge from that picture, it kind of looks like a dart stationwagon, but it is a 1960 Mercury Comet Stationwagon. I love it! It was soposed to be the high end Falcon of the 60's. A Robert Macnamara special....I guess they thought it was delux because it had a power back window and a automatic choke.....although, i took the automatic choke out and put a manual one in. It works better that way. It needs a little work on the inside, and a paint job, but it has totaly been done over in the inerds part of it.....it has a new rebuilt 144 6 banger in it, and the 2 speed merc-o-matic transmition has been rebuilt...it also has a new drive line and rear end. It runs great. Im a big nerd and put a CB in it, with a loud speaker/PA system on it. It is kind of like a souped up Mr. Microphone. Its fun talking to truckers on it sometimes. Well, the Diper Dash was fun, a real kick in the pants. My son Joey would have won, but he turned around and headed back tword me. It was really cute. My daughter Mollee got lost in the shuffle, and started running tword the side lines. They were all winners if you ask me. It was super cute. I cant wait to go back there and MD tonight, I should find some good stuff I think. With all of those people around, im sure they must have dropped something. I'll keep you all posted on if I find anything or not. Brad
