My new techniques appear to be able to work in all of them so far.
Still can only find what's there, but, I do seem to be finding more. :dontknow:

Like this first find,

2016 (604).jpg

This read exactly like a piece of tinfoil on the surface
except that it kept giving this 65-70 spike.
It was the tiniest of blips! In trash. But, now, it stood out more.

2016 (605).jpg

Where's Waldo? ;)

2016 (606).jpg

Look how tiny this is! LOL

Of course, there were ones like this too:

2016 (603).jpg

Ya know, I'll never get tired of seeing that! :)

On the deeper side, I got this mellow sort of a hit.
I called it, (after some finagling), as a deep quarter hit, 85-87.
But I dug to where one like this would normally be found and it was
deeper still!

2016 (607).jpg

Now, I know 10 inches might not seem really deep to some here.
But, when one's digging with just a lil garden tool, in some VERY rocky ground!
Ten inches is a long way down! LOL

2016 (608).jpg

Out pops this buckle. Afraid I'm unsure what kind but
in this place, it has to be pretty old!

Here's the rest:

2016 (609).jpg
2016 (610).jpg
2016 (614).jpg

Not in too bad shape. It even retained a
bit of material as well! THAT...fascinates me! :)

2016 (611).jpg

This does too. Coins from EVERYwhere!! LOL

2016 (613).jpg

The tiny little thing. Not marked. Reminds me of part of a Rosary. :dontknow:

2016 (612).jpg

Of course......... ;)

Thanks for peeking!

I need to slow down and listen....
No telling how much I've missed on my scorched earth hunting style.
Congrats on the finds....

Congratualtions on the nice finds!

Looks like Fishy and Blingie are engaged in a bit of tug-of-war.

Who won the tug of War, I have Been Watching you Latest Posts Whith a lot of Interest Keep them Up Chug

Great finds! Congrats on an awesome day.

Good stuff WHADI. I've been finding good surface finds too lately. Today I found a 115 yr old IH cent basically on the surface. It too was a weird signal, there was junk under it. How modern-ish junk got under that penny I'll never know.

Great finds, and a great post! I wonder why Lizzy and Fishy are praying to the Rosary? Congrats. -Lisa & John

Congrats Whadi, :occasion14: you have been pulling some awesome finds with your latest technique. Stay with it, it is paying off for you.

WHADIFIND. looks like you had a fun hunt, and you are back on the quarter trail again.

Yep,, that's what is left of a Rosary. Not easy to pick up a solid hit on a non silver chain.
That looks like "Little Orphan Annie " on that Netherlands coin. lol
Congrats on an outstanding hunt.

cool Netherlands coin ! first time I seen that Type :icon_thumright:

I've never seen one before either. Ya know, it's funny, but it seems that every time I find a "foreign" coin anymore, it's something new to me! LOL

Does keep it interesting though! :)

Anyone shed some light on the buckle? Horse harness? Wagon? Cow? :dontknow:
