WElls Fargo & Co's Guard Badge found today ?? help id please

was with daughter today so very light hunting , this was wraped in what look like rotted leather that just fell apart i washed it with soap and water thats it for cleaning

dont know if its real or not but its cool to me

anyone have any idea on ho to see if its real or not

front has stage coach and a train on it the back has a little fox looking animal on it right by the hinge for the pin hammer marks are har to see but are present more so on the back in the area of where it could of been stamped at

there is whear and tear on the 6 points on the back but not much and u can start to see the copper green starting to show up

It's a repo, sorry to say, it is a common one on the badge / western market.
The pin is a dead giveaway. still a cool find!

if im correct it should have a bend in the base part of the pin where its connected to the badge its self right ? i have one that was passed down from a great grandparent like that
