Went to Bust Island and it wasn’t given it up today. Large coil small coil didn’t matter. I did manage a .58 musket ball, 3 wheats a stainless steel spoon from Korea, flat button and a something. The lady had horses way back when. Hope it’s old. That that that that’s all folks!!! IMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPG

Oh and yes I thought I had my first buckle:laughing IMG_0012.JPG

Buckle reminds me of one off an old swim suit? Nice finds.

Very nice finds. The buckle reminds me of a golfers buckle for some reason.

It's still too hot for me and now we have a lot of flooding. The musket ball is probably Civil War period or newer due to the caliber.

You got out and that's something, and you did pull some finds of interest. I'd say there are worse days in life than that! :occasion14:

Isn't that odd? How we sometimes feel that if we hunt for a longer time, we sort of expect there will be commensurate finds? ;)

Keep the faith brother! :)

The bottom picture looks a lot like a sump plate off of a 1971-83 Triumph {oil in frame} motorcycle. The oil tank for the bike is also the top frame rail. The plate fits on the bottom of the frame.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

You got out. You got some nice finds. I like the buckle. Congrats

Heck .. I have spent 8 hours out and didn't have that much to show for my efforts. I like that buckle. too!

Yeah creskol I’ve gotten spoiled lately. I sound like a brat. Lol

My grandfather constantly drilled one bit of advice into my brain from the time I can remember to the time he died .. " He who expecteth nothing, ain't gonna be disappointed" I live by that statement religiously!

Your grandfather was a very wise man.
