Well, I'll have to change my screen name!

I had a great go with the old analogs. I took a long overdue leap into the world of digital detectors. After a couple cheapies left a bad taste in my mouth, (lets call them a Tight's Blizm III and Erret Gace 250) I decided to give the Fisher F4 a go and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. (thanks, thompy). This thing's amazing. Excellent visual and tone ID, excellent depth, lightweight. I can bypass those evil shallow pennies (zinc and copper) and concentrate on finding this stuff:

You made this analog detectorist very upset with you, former 21st Century Analog Boy. :D :icon_jokercolor: You're always welcomed back into the club, buddy! :D

I have heard a lot of great reviews on Fisher's latest digital detectors. You made a good purchase.

Now, get out there and make the digital world happy! :icon_sunny:

Analog Boy,
I've seen a few analog machines for sale recently real cheap and was wondering about the pros and cons of purchasing one. I know sometimes older machines are built better but sometimes it's the newer machines that are technologically better. I'm new to MDing, is a Coinmaster 6000/Di series 2 worth $80?
