At the base of a pine tree, I came across this mushroom. It wasn't there 2 weeks ago.
It is a little bigger than my 11 inch coil.
Anyone know what kind of mushroom or spore it might be and is it edible?

ATW I GOT PICS WHERE I HAD FUNGUS ON MY TOE , DANG I MEAN TREE ,THAT WAS YELLOW AND ORANGE AND WAS NEEET TO SEE>LOOKED LIKE A CARNATION..
