Well I guess it's all downhill from here UPDATE

Found my first ring on friday in Ocean City MD. (at the end of the steps near Ripleys almost under the pier), and only my 2nd piece of jewelry. The 1st was a Tiffany & Co. silver heart charm.

The ring is stampe 10k and I only hope the stones are real. In my opinion, I would think they would be...10k is usually a "ring" type gold because it holds up better.

What do you guys think.

Gold is 10k stones ore fake. oh well I finally found some gold. off to the smelter

Nice find before you go to the smelter you should take it to a jewelry store have them clean it for you and see what a pawn shop will give you for it just a thought you might make out better in the deal

Wow, That is a great first Ring...One you will never forget! My Bets are that it is the real deal, Nice craftmanship, Dated, and it's 10k...And unless you need the Money, your first ring is always the one you keep for good luck. You have one of the Best detectors for that beach, Hits deep, and is a killer in allmetal/PP mode. So....... this is just the beginning of a long love with your Excal II, Let me know next time you head down, I am between Balt & Annap's and try to get down at least once a month during the winter, and during the summer as much as possible. Planning on hitting the bay this spring after a 25 year side trak. ConGrads Again.......Good Luck, hope to see you out there..joe/Obn
