The base is kinda heavy iron . The wire things are copper . The bottom says Dazey Manufacturing Co . NY No. 37 .

Here are some patent pics of the frog... I think the wire portions are aftermarket, or handmade? Maybe that portion was never patented... anyway, here are some examples... The first three patented in 1934, the last in 1937.
