✅ SOLVED Weird rock . . .

I have never seen a rock like this. I dug it in Southern RI with my M6 - it's really hot. You can see some rust in it but it does not stick to a magnet. Three sides look painted/ melted. I was also wondering if it was hand shaped. Any thoughts?

I think it is manmade, you should probably also post in the Native American artifacts section of forum to try to get positive ID

Could be a piece of graphite. See if it will leave a mark like a pencil.
