Weird red lead thing with silver nodules

Site encompasses late 18th c. to now. I’ve found lots of lead toys here, mainly civil war and WWI soldiers, horses. Thought at first this was a different kind of toy soldier, but now doesn’t seem to be. The fixtures on the back seem to be silver? TIA.

I agree. The way it puddled in the pic on the right looks like lead/solder.
