Hello folks,
Son found a coin that looks kind of medevil in a park here in Oregon.
Is a bronze coin a little bigger than a new quarter and much thicker.
Stamped off center on both sides and is not quite round.
One side has words circling a logo says "SANCTAHILDEGARDENSIS "
Logo looks like capitol H with fancy scrolls.
Other side circle letter "KNIGHTPROTECTORHEATHERLAND" .
Inside has an arrow with runes all around.

Sorry I didn't get a pic.
Found about 1" down in 1 acre lawn of a fairly new park.
Is this some kind of "Dungeons and Dragons" thing?
Sure looked neat when he found it but sanity returned when we could read it in modern English.
Anyone know what this is about?
Grey

Its prob from that group that gets together to dress up and re-enact the middle ages. I forget what theyre called.

Good call, BCH! There was a different variety of these fantasy pieces (same monogram reverse) in an old "Ask Mark Parker" column. Scroll down to the last item on the page, "A Different World."
