This has happened numerous times with two different cameras....two different operators. While trying to photograph certain sites (with new or 3/4 charge batteries) after one, maybe two pics...battery drains...red warning...sometimes so weak that it is hard to get the lens to close. First few times this happened we thought it was just bad batterys. Try the camera later or the next day....batterys back up....camera works fine. Tried to photograph a site yesterday...3/4 charge on batterys....same thing again...OK , I just walk off about twenty steps....batterys back up...repeated the process four times with same results. One time the batterys showed to be fully charged. Cameras work just fine everwhere else with absolutely no problems.
Metal detectors sometimes just switch off or quit working in the spots.
Could this be some weird magnetic field, static elect., or just unexplainable?
