Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting here. I have a question for you. My Mom received a dollar bill many years ago, I would say in the 1970's and what is weird about the bill is that the front looks normal, but the back is almost completely green. This is diffenently an error from the mint. Does anyone have any idea (ballpark) about how much this would be worth? Thank you in advance!

A pic or two usually helps... ;)
Yup that would help ! But in the meantime, what does the bill have printed on it,does it say silver certificate,or federal reserve, what's the date etc. ???

Sorry I cannot give you a pic. My Mom has the bill. It is a Federal Reserve Note. Like I said, tha back is all green. Then same ink the Federal Reserve uses to print bills. The front is the same as any other $1 dollar bill. Thanks for the response.

Sounds to me like too much ink was on the press at the time. A picture would work wonders, though.
