Most of these are island finds. I dont mind kayakin in the winter so I usally do well out in the bay. First 2 are net weights 1 is broke along the hole. There is a jasper flake tool and a small rhyolite blade. A couple of thumb scrapers and1 looks to be made into spokeshave. A nice spokeshave found about 2 months ago. And a quartz knife missing the tip. Nothing amazing. Any insight is welcome.

Interesting finds bsit...I'd love to get out the kayak but with the ice and snow it would be mission impossible. These new fishing yaks are perfect for artifact hunters, lots of storage space and a comfortable ride.

Im right up the other end of the chesapeake from ya. Ill meet you half way and we will hunt tillman island for clovises.lol. I do use a fishing kayak and its the best. The islands up here are great but you half to watch wind and tides plus alot are watched by the army since they own half the county. Have a great new years.

Heres a few kayak finds, and thats where the kayaks got parked as we came to the rock bars.

I seen a kayak or canoe that has a plexiglass piece in the bottom for viewing. I thought that would make a excellent view for finding artifacts in shallow water. However, you would have to be careful about scratches. Nice artifacts!!! Keep searching. Keith.

Sounds good man, just give me a two week head start and I'll cruise right in, lol. Good luck in 2011.

Keith, those see through bottom yaks would be great for covering alot of ground in small creeks.
