Grabbed these today and thought I could get double what I payed in value. I payed 20. There are four candle holders and the two smaller ones appeared to be made of a thicker sheet of sterling (didn’t have the tiny dings you typically see) so I went for it... what the heck.

The two smaller ones are over 32 grams each (the top was gooey....going to try and let it bake in the sun to dry it out) these are the ones manufactured by courtship...

The other two combined weigh in at 50 grams

I crush them just the same. It's the only way the PM buyer will take them. I don't know if you do this, but I put mine in the freezer first and then that frozen hard resin shatters and falls out with one smack after you take the bottom off.

Those are quite heavy

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft:

Tamrock,

That’s a piece of advice I’ll use lol! Put them in the bed of my truck to bake and they melted into gooey globs, first time I ever had some that were still soft.

They hardened up but I think I have made more work for myself lmao!

I found out about the freezer method after I left some weighted silver items in the garage in the winter. I decided to strip-em and found that resin turned into the consistency of a frozen chocolate bar and they were so much easier to strip clean. So come summer I just put-em in the freezer.
