Weight of boxes

I believe I read on here that a box of halves weighs 25 lbs.Can anyone verify this?

Also does anyone know the weight of cent,nickel and dime boxes?Thanks.

One 50 cent coin weighs approx 11.5 grams so 1000 would weigh about 11500 grams divided by 454 grams in a pound and you get right at 25.3 pounds. I haven't done the math on the others. Cheers, Jim

I know those babies are heavy....when I get two boxes I have to make two trips and the same on the returns......good exercise though.....ha!

Box of Nickles 2000 to a box @ 5 grams 22.32 Pounds.
