Here is the weekend haul.
I went out early on Saturday morning, to the bad side of town, it is best to go early... if you know what I mean. I hunted a couple of lots where the houses had been removed. I found the usual bottlecaps, clad, house keys etc... then the Deus hit a nice high tone, and out popped a sterling silver band. I worked around a little more and another nice high tone, and out comes a dinner ring. It has 925 on the inside. The stones are just paste... but still, I got two silver rings... that's good for me.
I went back on Sunday morning. I worked the area where the front porch and front yard would have been on the demolished houses. I hunted for almost three hours. I got about 50 coins total, from the '40s until present. There were (12) Wheaties, and one lone silver... my first quarter! I am into coins, so I was really excited about seeing George. That is silver coin #11YTD.
I found this Hotpoint "spinner token" which celebrates their 50th anniversary in 1955. I also found what I think is a part of a Masonic keychain.
Thanks for looking!
