WEEKEND REPORT: Digging Silvers "Live" and Vintage Military Officer Hat Badge & More!

Hello Everyone!

This week we had a blast searching some old military housing projects from the teens. We also called this weeks hunt "Rings around the Rosies" because we found a gold ring, silver ring and 4 silver Roosevelt dimes in one location. My best find was a silver vintage Air Corps officers hat pin at a 1890 house permission. We also found several indian head pennies and a several mercury dimes, and even an old foreign coin (Iceland). A few tootsies and some "In-ground Bonus Finds" such as marbles.

Very nice weekend digs, congratulations! The hat badge is more modern than vintage, USAF dress blues enlisted mans hat, not Air Corp. That is very much 70's style, same as I wore 74-78. I still have my hat pin. Maybe I'm at the age to be called vintage!
