It would have been much better iffin you shared some of them ramps,cornbread too.

Never heard of them til I lived in the Great Smoky Mountains,best place i ever lived by the way.

When you said ramp, my mind jumped to my trip to Clingman's ( Klingman ? ) Dome in the Smokies. It has that long, winding spiral ramp to the viewing platform to allow wheelchairs to visit it too.

Those are some great looking places to detect. Old walls and chimneys just make the mind race, don't they?

Absolutely! Even when you don't find much it's fun to poke around those old sites. It's like standing in the past.
