So went out this weekend for some hard digging and exploring. Came up with a few good finds. In one place I found a 1842 canadian bank token half penny, and a unidentifiable copper thats just a hair smaller than a penny(about dime size). Not sure what it could be but probably similar age to the token. Another site lead to some more finds and an interesting cellar hole. Also in the photo with my knees I spy 3 surface find relics! thanks for checking it out.

Very nice, I recovered one of those Canadian Half Penny Bank Tokens here in Mich. last year, a little rougher than yours though

Nice recoveries at the site, liking the photos of the different relics just laying around. Was the wheel already leaning against the tree or did you stand it up?
Well done on the bank token it's in fine shape, but I have no idea what the smaller copper is, as it didn't fair as well in the soils.
The bell is nice even though it has a split it looks complete, digging one that's not split is a feat in its self, as I have found more have the split running up the side usually. Frost damage I would guess is the main reason and been thin it just pops the side apart.

Yeah that wheel was sitting against a tree, probably hunters leaned it up looking at it years ago.

That 1842 canadian bank token half penny is gorgeous. Very nice bell too

Just goes to show the difference in copper quality the canadians had. every canadian copper I pull is always in better shape then american coins I pull.

I found a bell exactly like that. Mine has a small numeral 2 on the top. Nice finds!
