I got a chance to hunt 2 huge farms, a retreat center, and a few farmhouses over the weekend.
I went with 7 other hunters to the Duncannon, Pennsylvania area. We hunted Friday afternoon at the retreat center which is now housed in an 1890 farm house. On Saturday, we hunted 2 huge fields and then zeroed in on a turn of the century farmhouse, (1900).
Talking over our finds at the end of the day on Saturday, one of my fellow hunters decided to join Treasurenet. So welcome to Repo Archeologist.

That converted farmhouse has an observation / meditation tower that was built on long after the original 1890 house was constructed.

You've reminded me of the one aspect of my "walks" that has been missing since my partner passed. Namely, "Fellowship".

This is a "loner" hobby for the most part. Due to many things.
But, having someone to immediately share the moment with, to collaborate with, etc. These are things that are just plain missing from my lonely "walks".
