weekend gold

I hit a few lots at three local schools this Saturday morning and was rewarded with over $10 in clad and a small gold medallion. It has an Asian motif on one side and the Chase Manhattan Bank symbol on the reverse. Marked 14k585 on the end and 99.99 on the reverse side.

I believe it is 14k gold. 585 is, I believe, a reference to the percentage of gold (roughly 58.5%). Not sure on the 99.99. You should post a picture of the Chase Manhattan side.

Also, is the top loop attached to the coin, or does it look like the bezel is a separate frame? (Like this: http://findingking.net/14K-Yellow-G...froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=froogle)

The bezel looks like it is a separate frame. It is obviously missing a clasp or screw or whatever holds it together. Maybe the bezel is just 14k and the rest is plated, not sure. Scanned the area but didn't find any chain.

It was a lot of easy digging as we had a rainstorm go thru Houston the night before.
