Went back to the place I got 5 silver dimes and a sterling ring last weekend. I did pretty well this weekend also. I picked up 3 more silver a 1935 d mercury dime, 1964 d Rosie, 1943 P nickel and a 1915 buffalo nickel. I also picked up this interesting button. Any help on Id or dating is greatly appreciated. I would also welcome suggestions on cleaning it. I can't decide among the methods listed in the cleaning forum.
Thanks,
Charlie

Thats a neat lookin button.I'd first try to dry brush it with a toothbrush and use a toothpick to lightly scrape/pick the crud off the back to see if ya can make out any writing on the back to help I.d. it.I'm sure someone will chime in and have better info on this sort of thang. Congrats...That second picture looks like apple pie..Lol...man I'm hungry.

Good Job, Charlie......Yes, I was there with you, and you showed me that button and some of your other finds.....that button looked really nice, live......I hope someone can ID it for you.....looks like a weave or cloth pattern on the obverse.......Hope to see you again.

Happy Hunting,
