Well we are continuing in our summer mode, basically meaning we are hunting from 8:00-10:30. nYesterday we hit 3 playgrounds that we hunted the first weekend in June and then today we hit 4 that we were just at 2 weeks ago. Total for both days was $14.00 between us, 3 junk rings, and this 10k ring that I found today at our 2nd spot. The center stone is missing the prong had broken. it has 2 little diamonds in it that tested good with the diamond tester.
With such a narrow hunt window we are staying fairly close to home, however the monthly road trip is coming up next weekend
congrats to all those that got out this weekend

Glad you got to go out!!!

Nice finds you two!!!!!

;)

Nice ring, usually missing stones are right there in the hole you found the ring check the dirt with a screen or Frisbee. Here is a thought try using a thin glass rod to probe for the diamond you would here a distinct clang when the diamond hits the glass.

Keep @ it and HH!

mud thanks for the tip, bman bobbies thinks it may have been a garnet, ameythst, or ruby. since we have those stones here fom last month we will have one of the garnets cut to fit the mount and have the prong fixed.

Dave and Bobbie. Great finds. Love the ring. It sure was hot and humid up here in Vermont this last week. Think you have been sending some humidity up here. Nice thought, but would prefer you keep it to yourself. Otherwise will have to send some snow down there in winter. Congrats...Lance
