This was the best button I could find this weekend. It's a cuff button.

Nice. Have you had to add on a room for your relics yet ?
I finished out my basement a couple of years ago and added 3 more bedrooms and a family room and 2 more bathrooms and a complete kitchen. And to answer you question, nope I still do not have enough room!

Excellent!

Love the fob and the button!

WOW! You found all of those in a weekend. I would give myself a medal to have found that many CW relics in a year. You're the man, Tsgman!

Fabulous stuff. The fob is Southern Pacific Rail Road. Cute kitten...and the cat is nice, too. ;D

Great finds. I always like to see your post. That's a great pile of lead. Good looking cat. I got my last dog at the shelter, also. I think they make the best pets. HH, Eric

I hope that soldier wasn't trying to carve a "lipstick"....You could've got shot back then :o.Alway's enjoy the pic's,I just need to get out...Work's killin' me....Congrat's on the find's,Nice job!!!!

Nice finds!!

Was the fourteenth corps anywhere in the area? If you turn the carved bullet upside down it will look like an acorn. The 14th were in my area alot and there have been many carved acorns found around here that are similar. The acorn was their corps insignia.
Here one I dug:

Its not the best example, and it is different than what you dug, but I have seen some that look just like the style of yours.

D, thanks for the reply! The items I found are probably from the Army of Gen. Curtis. When they were at the peak I believe they were about 12,000 men. They were all over Missouri. Tsgman
