New Brunswick
Detector(s) used
Fisher F4
I got out over the weekend with my new Fisher F4 searching old properties in my area and came up with mostly pennies and a couple of surprises. See pics.

Got an 1864 New Brunswick Penny that had been turned into a pendant and a 1902 US Liberty V nickle. I have not cleaned them and will sell them on Ebay as is and leave the cleaning to someone else who knows better than I how to best do that.

Good start but the shipping and Ebay fees will probably cost you more than what those coins are worth.

Welcome to Treasure Net !
Great finds.
Can you post a pic of the penny's reverse side?
I agree with IP in that the costs involved with selling on eBay--based on the condition of each coin and their current values may not be warranted.
Don.

Any suggestions as to how I may market these coins if EBay is not a good option?

I think what IP is saying is in dug condition they probably are only worth a dollar or three each.
It's a good start to detecting though, I've used both a Fisher F2 and F5 and they really seem to be decent machines for the price!

nice coins but I would rather keep them as you wont get very much for them.Where in NB are you?

No, I'm saying keep them because no one will buy them. :laughing7:

You may wish to follow this auction of a similar (except as to condition) NB coin--then determine what you think yours is worth.

You can also check in Ebay's "Completed Transactions" section for actual sales of the same coin and again, make a value determination of your own coin. An old catalogue I have (2003) shows the RETAIL value in VG-8 condition as $2.00. Yours would not grade that high IMO.

You might get greater 'value' in watching the face of a kid in a coin club receive this and the other coin.
Don..........
