Weekend Finds: Barber QUINtet, Small Tribe, and a silver record!

My dad and I got to go to a few different spots this weekend. My dad started out friday while I was at school setting his record for silver in a day with 6! The next morning I convinced him to take a road trip, which we came back with my tenth silver of the year, and my dad's first Barber Quarter! Went out on Sunday to a park and my dad found his 12th silver of the weekend, and a couple of indians between us. Also had a TON of nails and iron there, that'll be a tough one to get at and clean up. The indians were on the surface right next to a new gravel parking lot, probably dug up when that was made.

On Saturday, my dad found a rooster with one of the indians that got us goin' and pullin out the silvers!

Totals for the weekend were

14 silvers, a record for us. 48 rosie, 41 43d 45 43 18 26 mercs, 1902 1899 1900 1906 1907(2) barber dimes, all plain; 44 washington, and 98 barber quarter
6 Injuns 1898 1903(2) 1907 1897 and 18?2
1 Buffalo 16s
16 wheats

My dad's quintet of barbers was the quarter, 1900 06 07 07 dimes.

Keep on truckin', my first year I only had one, then last year I only had four even while my dad and uncle were killin' it sometimes. Just gotta get lucky, once you get the first they seem to come a little easier
