WOW RON!! Such awesome finds man ~ WOOHOO!!!!!!

Too bad you didn't dig a Barber dime ~ then you would have had a silver dime GRAND SLAM!!!

I wonder what that aluminum medal thingy is? ORE. SDA? Looks very "official"!

CONGRAT'S MAN!!!!

Ron,

Looks like a day to remember to me. I can't believe the number of seated coins you, Neil and Richard are finding. Its a big deal on the west coast and you guys are making it seem normal. The token and chauffer badge are awesome. What's the badge made of...looks like it polished up nice.

Thanks for the advice on my new EXP 2.

Awesome Seated dime find, Ron!

Love the Chauffeur's badge too!!

As long as you can get out there and swing your coil, you will always find the good stuff!!

Congrats,

AWESOME finds Ron!!
The 1874 Seated Liberty Dime looks great and the merc and the rosies
and the little derringer cap pistol. Even though the SLD is a wonderful
find, I think the chauffers badge is something more rare. That's the first one
I have seen here in Oegon. Congratulations on a great hunt and great finds.
I'm wondering if the medallion is a notice that is put on something, that
could be dangerous, with a piece of wire?

Those are terrific silvers and the seated is fantastic! Does it seem like there are alot of guns being found by T-netters this spring or is it just me?????

Wow if that 1874 dime had been the CC mint mark you'd have hit the jackpot.
Nice looking coin.I found a Derringer cap gun like that one last year.
Congrats on the finds

Aaron the Badge came out of the ground that way I thought it was a nickel it read 12-13 on the ET maybe brass and chrome plated . anytime you need help give me a call and good luck HH RonC

I think that seal is from the Oregon "State Department of Agriculture". It looks pretty old, but it is definately the SOE seal. Since it depicts cargo ships, and with the "tested and sealed" message, it probably was something that was used to seal grain cargo holds once a state inspector checked them out.
According to this, it would date the peice probably in the 30's.

Sweet finds! I would love anyone of them!
