Hello All!
My Dad and I have gone of Long Island a few times with limited luck detecting, I mentioned to a friend of mine at work " I would like my dad to get a 1875 seated liberty dime and it would be a good trip" My uncle Dennis got us on the property. Thanks Dennis! My dad informs where he is going to start covering and off he goes. I get a come here and see what signal your getting here, Got a nice dime signal reach in and pull out a beautiful 1877 seated liberty with a CC mark! I look to see where he is? I find him tell him to open his hand and drop it in. Holy Sh.. is this what i think it is. Long story short we found some odds and ends shell casings 3 IH"s a wheatie and a 1917 merc, got 1863 an 1864 an 1892 an 1914 wheat Best roadtrip we have gone on. Listening to the memories of my fathers use was gravy on a good day!
