Nice!!! A two fugio day. Can't remember ever seeing a 2 fugio day before. And a couple LCs and a Connecticut as well.... and the buttons too. Excellent day is an understatement. Awesome day!!!:thumbsup:

Do you know the dating on the militia button ? Also, is the DB an 1807 ?

Great finds there.. Love those old coppers...I wish I could find more buttons... They just don't turn up for me too often

thanks dude! the militia button is circa 1820-30 I believe.and the draped bust is pretty toasted in the date area but looks like 1803?

Wow Dave, that was one heck of a weekend of digging! Some really nice buttons, especially that gilted militia button. great variety of coppers too. My kind of digging for sure!

Can't pinpoint the exact variety of your button. But it mirrors a "pewter" example, made in Conn, circa 1808. Yours is obviously a wonderful example, made in brass. They don't get much better than that! Still looking for my first Fugio. Someone may pipe in on the variety of that Conn. AWESOME! Hogge
