Nox 800 , Nox 600, Excalibur II, manticore

Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Mid November I was beach hunting and found a womans gold wedding band with small diamonds. Fast forward to yesterday, I found the other ring to the set not far from where the first one was. The first one rang up a solid 6 on the manticore. The second was a jumpy 3/4, my settings are beach low conductor, sensitivity 20 and recovery speed 4.

Congrats on getting the other ring to make it a set.
Is there a maker's mark on the bands, as the settings are quite unique.
I has the old look to the-yet it could be just the style.

They’re both marked 14k and have a makers mark but I can’t make it out. They don’t weigh much, the one with the small center stones weighs 1.81 grams. Both have a hollow back.

No engraving inside the band(s), eh?

Doesn't appear to be an expensive set, though may still have been custom—IDK.

Can't help but think of the backstory though. Rather than "lost", might they not have been cast into the ocean together in an act of closure? :dontknow:

I don’t think they were an expensive set, but still precious to the person that lost them. I found them across from an inexpensive hotel on the gulf coast. My guess is that they were on vacation and lost them swimming.

Good story seed for a creative writing class at any rate... :sign13:

Cool finding both rings in the same area. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing.
