I finally found a man's wedding ring he lost off his boat house last year. I first went there last year and the water was too deep for my chest waders and I didn't have my underarmor on. Next attempt, At/Pro quit on me and had to be repaired, strike one. Next attempt, waves out of the Northeast beat me up and I only had limited time, strike two. 3rd swing, would I strike out like Casey at the bat or hit a home run? Home run. 14K white gold ring recovered in the area where the man said it was. Took me almost two hours with so much metal trash under the boat dock and I'm having to relearn the At/Pro since they replace everything. Before, I could pick a good target out of 6-7 targets, but have to get back in tune with it again. It sounds just a little different. I always hunt slow, but I had to really slow down and think about it to recover this ring. Within a few minutes and 2-3 scoops, it was in my scoop and I'm happy to finally be able to recover and return a lost ring.
I was just going to take a photo of the ring, but the lady insisted on taking my photo. HH.
