Well I got a call from my new good friends, and a wedding ring was lost on the big day itself.
Not just a wedding ring, but a hand made in Scotland of 22K, and flown over by the maker, a friend of theirs.
Anyway after going over the area where is was thought to be I was losing confidence of finding it. So I crawled under the deck, not enough room to swing a detector, but didn't really need it as there was no grass in there, not much gold under there either, I peeked through some latice work under the steps, and there it was, I had to break a bit of it off to reach it. I announced to the clean-up crew that I found it. There was a cheer, and almost a tear. For what a bad omen that would have been if it was lost forever on day one.
I'm glad you got your ring back Mary.
