From a usability point of view, the main category index pages are difficult to navigate. Because the bylines font is larger, bold and italicized as compared to the thread titles, it is difficult to quickly scan the titles. The bylines draw the eyes attention rather than the title. I would suggest a smaller non-italicized non-bold plain font for the byline and a slightly larger and bold thread title.
