Hello, I was looking at this website for ideas on coin values. I like the site but it seems that the values are a bit high. I may be totally off though. Let me know what you think. For example, I dug a 1912 barber quarter and it valued the coin in great condition at 475$. Mine is in great shape, I hope that value is spot on lol. Thanks

Spin Off Question

Great find and I know your feeling when pulling a silver quarter out of the ground. I've only found a few silver coins over the years, but the mellow shiney sheen of silver coming out of the ground always gets my heart going....

Several times I've recovered a foreign coin. Nowadays, I'm beginning to see foreign coins at garage sales, but I have no idea of their value or worth in the silver market.

To you and all who read your question, Is there a single website that shows how much silver is in older foreign coins?

Keep digging and Thanks for the help,
Bill

I like to use ngccoin.com's World Coin Price Guide, at World Coin Price Guide -most of the older silver foreign coins show the silver ASW, fineness, and melt value, along with the numismatic value of the coin. Hope this helps!
