WEB Notes????

I remember back in the 90's that a lot of bills were printed on a web press
and were called web notes. I just cant remember from what years they were
printed, and how you could tell it was a web note. Any info would be appreciated.

look at the back side of the one dollar bill. In the center portion look down and right. If you see a small plate number it is not a WEB note. If you look up and right and see a small number it is a WEB note. They are getting hard to find but I haven't sold any so don't know what they are bringing. When you lay one next to another bill the colors will be different also. good luck, siegfried schlagrule

The series for the Web Notes are 1988A, 1993, and 1995.
There is an excellent book entitled The Standard Handbook of $! Web-Fed Test Notes- 1988A, 1993, 1995 authored by Bob Kvederas Jr. & bob Kvederas Sr. This a first edition printed in July 2001 and was limited to 500 copies. I probably paid no more than $10.00 for it at the time and it was well worth the money.
