Thanks. I consider everything I dig to be another learning experience. It all adds up to a greater whole. If people want to pass over clad, I will gratefully take it, lol.
 

I never turn down clad - saves using my regular income for gas and batteries. I know some save clad up and buy collectible coins with it as well. After all, it does spend just fine.

Aside from finding coins this is great exercise as well. I counted the times i got down to dig one day and in 3 hours I got down 138 times. That was a pretty good day but on an average outing of 3 - 4 hours I usually get down to dig about 50 - 70 times.
 

I would rather claim that "I made lots of recoveries" instead of holes. At least in my case, not all recoveries required a "hole" being dug.
 

I know a lot of deep knee bends going on, I have been detecting for about four years and have saved all of my clad coins in a big bottle. Told my son to slit it up between my Grandkids when I'm gone. So far I have found around $700. So it won't make them rich but it is better than nothing. :thumbsup:
