I’ll go, the first one sure looks like it was a big, old, lance, the second is the greenish one in the top middle, I put other points in as scale but just looking at the angle and extending the lines, seems like it was from a very large blade again with the possibility of being a transitional era point

Rarely have I found a perfect artifact in the amount of hunting I've done in the western states. I just enjoy finding any evidence left by those from the past and being outdoors.

I agree, still lots of information and cool. wandering around in the woods and creeks is a fine consolation if I don’t find anything, love being outdoors.

About a 100 to one finding intact points verses brokes in my experience.
Here in the rocky west it's like 300 to one. Deer, Elk, Sheep and Cattle had to have stepped on just about ever square inch at one point in time.

Even the broken ones have a story to be told. For example this black one you can see they were attempting to thin the base but instead it snapped. By the edges on sharpening it looks as if they used it as a scraper anyway.

Thanks for jumping in 1st to get it rolling. Some oldies in that group
With 32 views on my pictures alone there should be more than just 4 people posting counting myself. Let’s post everyone. This forum need’s people posting. Everyone that collects finds broken artifacts.
Thanks to the members that did post. Even broken they can still be beautiful

I just found one last night!

I’m waiting for the sun to shine to get better pics. It’s translucent, also.

Here’s a couple more that I’ve found, I call “The Twins.” Lol
