Hard to tell from photo, but looks a lot like some rough Amethyst I have.

Hate to say it but its a chunk of silcate. Could be a mix of jasper/agate but otherwise no real factors.

The words, waxy blue grey, makes me think of chalcedony. Little difficult to tell from the pic.

Not a crystal. Could be many things. A hardness test will rule out some possibilities.
