Never thought I would find one of these. The engraved stone part of the wax seal is missing, I’ll go back and sift the area at some point.

Found a large tootsie toy spill.

Some intact glass.

Those finds are awesome! That wax seal is very nice and the guy on the horse looks a dragoon? Sweet!
 

Good luck finding the stone to the wax seal fob Thad. Better go back soon or you will forget exactly where you dug it :laughing7:
 

Can't help on the age range. I've only ever found one crushed one.
Thx Steve. You called it a Fob Seal, this resulted in much better Google hits than my Wax Seal that lead to a lot of toilet pieces and parts links… I found one that was not a match, but very close that was ID’d as late 1890-1910 by an auction site. Not as old as I thought.
